From what I've seen, life is centered around farming and family. People spend a lot of time working on their land, gardening, and they also have very strong social ties with their neighbors.
They seem to enjoy a simpler lifestyle. A lot of their activities are outdoors, like tending to animals or their gardens, and they participate actively in community events like weddings and holiday celebrations.
People in the countryside often socialize with each other much more than in the city. Visiting neighbors for a chat over a cup of tea is a very common and important daily activity.
