I’d say libraries have definitely changed a lot with the internet. These days they’re not just about shelves of books. Many libraries now focus more on being community spaces — with study rooms, free Wi-Fi, language clubs, and events that you obviously don’t get just by googling. They also give free access to computers and Wi-Fi, which is really important for families who don’t have that at home. Another big change is that libraries aren’t limited to physical books anymore. They also give access to e-books and audiobooks, so you can borrow something online without even stepping inside the building. And a lot of modern libraries run workshops and courses, like coding lessons, CV writing, or author talks, so they’re more like learning centers now. At the same time, one thing hasn’t changed. Libraries are still quiet places to study, and that’s something the internet can’t replace. At home it’s easy to get distracted, but in a library you automatically feel more focused.
