I do read movie reviews, but I don't always take them into account when deciding whether or not to watch a movie. I think that reviews are often subjective and influenced by personal preferences, so what one reviewer likes, I may not necessarily enjoy. Additionally, the context in which a movie is viewed can affect my opinion of it. For example, a movie may be more enjoyable in a theater setting with a big screen and surround sound, whereas it may not be as impressive when viewed on a smaller screen at home. So a negative review may not deter me if I feel that the movie meets my personal criteria. Plus, I'm aware that reviews can be influenced by marketing and hype. Some reviewers may feel pressured to give a positive review due to the popularity or buzz surrounding a film, even if they don't necessarily believe it deserves high praise. That's why I try to be mindful of that when reading them. I believe it's important to form my own opinions based on my own experiences and criteria, rather than solely relying on the opinions of others.
