Well, I think it can be a good idea for a child to always take their favourite toy with them. Favourite toys give children comfort and security, especially in new or unfamiliar situations. I’ve noticed that having a toy nearby can help a child feel less anxious and more confident. It can also make things like travelling or waiting in queues a lot easier, because they have something familiar to focus on. Also, favourite toys can be a real source of emotional support, almost like a little friend. And of course, children usually feel happier when they have something they love with them. I think it’s a good thing, as long as it doesn’t turn into a distraction.
Actually, I don’t think it’s a good idea for a child to always carry their favourite toy. If they do, they might become overly dependent on the toy and struggle to cope without it. I’ve seen that children who rely on toys all the time can miss chances to develop independence and problem-solving skills. It can also be stressful if the toy gets lost or forgotten somewhere. Sometimes, children might focus too much on the toy and interact less with other kids. In my opinion, it’s better for children to have the toy when it’s needed, like during travel or bedtime, rather than carrying it everywhere. This way, they learn to feel secure in other ways too.
