While online shopping is rapidly growing and becoming more convenient, I don't think physical stores will disappear completely. They still offer customer service, a sensory experience, and the immediate access to products that online shopping can't match.
Many people still prefer the traditional shopping experience, and physical stores play an essential role in supporting local economies. Technology is also enhancing the physical shopping experience through tools like augmented reality and interactive displays, making it more engaging.
Rather than disappearing, physical stores may evolve into hybrid models where they combine the best of both worlds—offering in-store experiences and integrating online features, allowing customers to shop in ways that suit their preferences.
