  • I think parents can:
  • lead by example in everyday life
  • make eco-friendly habits part of daily routines
  • explain environmental issues in a simple, age-appropriate way
  • make environmental actions feel meaningful, not forced
  • show how everyday choices affect the environment
  • spend more time outdoors and build an emotional connection with nature
  • show kids simple things they can do, such as turning off lights or picking up litter
  • make sustainability feel normal rather than something special
Well, I think parents can teach their children to protect nature when they lead by example in everyday life. Kids usually copy what they see at home, so behaviour matters more than rules. It also helps when parents make eco-friendly habits part of daily routines. Things like saving water or sorting rubbish then feel natural. Another important point is when parents explain environmental issues in a simple, age-appropriate way. Children understand better when ideas are clear and not too dramatic. And I think it really works when parents spend more time outdoors and build an emotional connection with nature. If kids enjoy nature, they’re more likely to want to protect it.
